News Shashi Kapoor Funeral: Veteran Actor’s Body Brought Home; Sanjay Dutt, Anil Kapoor Reach To Pay Tribute

Yesterday we marked the death of one of the most popular actors of what is dubbed as the golden era of the Bollywood, and one who has immortalised himself with his brilliant acting, looks that would make any woman go weak in the knees, and charm such to fall in love of – Shashi Kapoor. The Bollywood veteran was not only a handsome face in films, but has also been in the capacity behind the cameras as director and producer.
As we told you earlier, Shashi Kapoor’s funeral will be performed on Tuesday as soon as his children Sanjna Kapoor and Karan Kapoor return to India from the United States. For the latest update on the legendary actor’s funeral, Mr Kapoor’s body has been brought to his residence from the Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai. Bollywood stars of the likes of Sanjay Dutt and Anil Kapoor have already reached his house.

Last night, nephew Rishi Kapoor, Bollywood stars like Saif Ali Khan and others who were away from the city, flew back down to the city after hearing about Shashi Kapoor’s death. Numerous Bollywood celebrities, including Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and husband Abhishek Bachchan; Kapoor’s co-star Amitabh Bachchan; and the younger lot of the Kapoor Khandaan – Ranbir, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif, Adar Jain, Armaan Jain; Rani Mukerji and Kajol were amongst those present. Moreover, a number of eminent personalities like Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Karan Johar, Sridevi, Poonam Dhillon are paying their tribute to the veteran actor on social media.
